Read MoreLisa Philip-Harbutt has spent over 30 years as an artist exploring the overlaps between visual, performing and community arts. Her passion is initiating cultural development and social change through arts practice. Lisa has a Masters in Business (Research) in which she tackled decision-making in the arts sector in South Australia. Her methodology was Participatory Action Research. Lisa has a BA Visual Arts majoring in sculpture and a Cert IV in workplace Training and Assessment. She has had a long commitment to the training of the next generation of artists and arts workers through lecturing work and the mentoring of emerging artists. Lisa has a growing international reputation for the delivery of thought provoking presentations at conferences. She has been the Director of Community Arts Network of South Australia since 2003.

Read MoreKath's life journey began at a beachside suburb of Adelaide in 1967. After initially combining study in English, History and Art with her early working life in hospitality and a fascination of people, Kath decided in 1992 that it was time to see more of the wider community. Here commenced five magical years of traversing Australia and the World working in some very remote areas and also in a variety of incredible jobs with an eclectic bunch of people. Returning to Australia by the end of 1997, Kath set about fulfilling more dreams. In 1998 Kath completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History and studied at summer schools learning the Pitjantjatjara language. Kath also studied a variety of desktop publishing programs whilst furthering her working career by moving into more administrative roles with an emphasis on management. Kath came to Community Arts Network SA as Office Manager early in 2001 after a life altering experience and she brings to that role a professional yet approachable and enthusiastic style of management and has thrived on the CAN SA ethos of inspiring active community culture. Through Kath's time at CAN SA she has been lucky to have worked with an incredible variety of inspiring artsworkers, artists and administrators. Every year Kath's life and work experience at CAN SA gets better and better. |

Read MoreDr Jo Ankor has worked with CAN SA since 2003 and currently holds the position of Sector Development Officer, delivering training in Arts Administration and Business Skills for Creative People, a program of skills-development workshops for volunteers and practitioners in the arts and cultural industries. She also coordinates CAN SA's Community Arts Development program of workshops, forums and seminars, supporting community arts practice and practitioners. Jo has a PhD from the University of Technology Sydney and an Honours degree in Cultural Tourism from Flinders University. She also holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. Jo has undertaken research for a range of arts organisations, including Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, the South Australian Tourism Commission, SA Film Corporation and the National Trust of Western Australia. She guest lectures at Flinders University in International Tourism Management and Festival & Event Design and Management. Jo serves on the Board of Management, Community Arts Network SA and sings with vocal swing group, Solstice. |

A Community Cultural Development worker committed to the empowerment and development of communities through good arts practice and collaboration. Helen Bock has worked across the SA Arts sector for over 30 years as a producer, programmer, promoter, performer and freelance arts worker. Helen works with and for community to program and produce Theatre, Festivals, Balls, Music Events, Markets, Community Events and Celebrations. |

Read MoreSusan came onboard with Community Arts Network in early 2007 to cover the financial processes while Kath was having another life changing event - thanks Kobe! Susan, having degrees & working in Accounting & IT, prefers the generous and eclectic colleagues in Not for Profit organisations. Previously Susan worked for Vitalstatistix, Southern Youth Theatre Ensemble, Inner Southern Business Enterprise Centre and South Adelaide Basketball Club. Currently Susan also works for Kurruru Youth Performing Arts, Real Estate Employers Federation of SA and Serval Project. Serval Project are developing open source mobile phone mesh networks for enabling disaster relief communications systems and remote area communication.
