Membership
By
becoming a paid member or renewing your membership of
CAN SA you will:
- assist
us in helping to "Inspire Active Community
Cultures Through Arts Practice"
- receive
services such as CAN SA Bulletin; Broadcast Email; advice
and consultations;
- pay
membership rates for workshops, training and forums
(where applicable)
- have
voting rights and eligibility to nominate for the Board
of Management
- but
most importantly enable us to advocate for the sector

As a financial member you will receive
monthly Bulletins, fortnightly Broadcast emails,
consultations and member rates for Workshops and
Forums, get voting rights at our AGM and you will
be eligible to stand for the Board of Management.
Membership is based on calendar year starting
from February.

Arts Network SA Member + Insurance Code of Conduct
Members
of Community Arts Network SA come into contact with a
variety of people such as community members, students
(their parents/guardians), clients, work colleagues, and
other members of the general public while practicing their
artform.
These
people have a diverse range of views, aspirations, expectations
and behaviour and it is vitally important that CAN SA
members extend and demonstrate respect for all others
in their communications and interactions.
As
a Member+ of CAN SA I will:
- agree
to abide by this Code of Conduct
- be
aware and mindful of CAN SA’s values in my dealings
with others
- abide
by CAN SA’s Constitution
- be
fair, considerate and honest with others be professional
in my actions
- be
familiar with and abide by all relevant legislation
and/or by-laws
- make
use of written contracts
- maintain
a safe environment for others
- show
concern and caution towards others
- act
in ways that enhance the standing of my profession.
